Do you remember Captain Planet?
This cartoon was created in 1990 during what I would call the resurrection of the environmental movement. Who doesn’t remember the great Earth Day events of the early 90s? What happened? Things kind of fizzled for 10 years but we are back in an upswing thanks, I think in part, to Al Gore’s “An Inconvenient Truth”. Everyone knows that recycling is one of the easiest ways to save energy.
Rocko’s Modern Life is another old cartoon that had a recycling episode. I posted the recycling episode from Rocko’s Modern Life previously but here is a new video with good environmental pics put to the same song.
