The Changing Public Behavior Educator Self-Study Module offers guidelines for selecting one of the following tools: background research, census data research, Delphi method, focus groups, informal interviews, observations, participatory action research, facilitated public meetings, rapid appraisal and surveys.
- Selection of intervention technique -
The Self-Study Module also offers a continuum of choices to help decide which technique to use from nonparticipation, consultative, collaborative and citizen power. Examples include advertisements (nonparticipation) to focus groups (consultative) to incentives (collaborative) to service projects (citizen power).
