The North Carolina General Assembly reorganized two DENR units into a new Division. The Department's Customer Service Center has been combined with the Division of Pollution Prevention and Environmental Assistance to form the Division of Environmental Assistance and Outreach (DEAO). The new unit retains all the core functions of the previous organizations. So no longer are we Dippy, we are Dayo!
