Going trayless (not topless)

Have you heard about this new trend on college campuses? School cafeterias are doing away with trays. Thus saving water and energy and reducing food waste. I know this guy in college who used to just use his skateboard as his tray. How’s that for thinking outside the tray?

Read about it here.
See a video here.

Are there any colleges in NC doing this you ask? Well some. See the list here.
-North Carolina A&T State
-North Carolina Central University
-North Carolina Wesleyan-Café
-Presbyterian College-Greenville (maybe Greenville, SC?)
-Saint Mary’s College
-Warren Wilson College

Hey! Thanks for all the great info. I was browsing through a bunch of green websites and blogs and I came across yours and found it very interesting. There are a bunch of others I like too, like the daily green, ecorazzi and earthlab.com. I especially like EarthLab.com’s carbon calculator (http://www.earthlab.com/signupprofile/). I find it really easy to use (it doesn’t make me feel guilty after I take it). Are there any others you would recommend? Can you drop me a link to your favorites (let me know if they are the same as mine).
