Job Posting - NC Keep America Beautiful Program Coordinator - Part time

POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for marketing, management and documentation of statewide litter prevention programs. Program outreach potential is 100 counties, with primary focus in Keep America Beautiful Affiliate locations. Existing annual programs: The Great American Cleanup™, Tarp Day, Litter Prevention Awards and Unusual Litter Contest in conjunction with the NC DOT Fall Litter Sweep. Other programs as identified, developed and implemented.
DUTIES
Great American Cleanup: Ensure registration, participation and documentation complies with KAB guidelines. Coordinates and manages shipment of materials to designated locations. Reconcile data and prepare report. Respond to and resolve issues. Prepare news releases and other media outreach. Expand program beyond current level of participation.

Tarp Day: Establish participant involvement. Secure vendor and develop distribution plan.
Reconcile data and prepare report. Respond to and resolve issues. Prepare news releases and other media outreach.
Expand program beyond current level of participation.

Annual Litter Prevention Awards: Update, promote and distribute application forms.
Coordinate with awards sponsors. Prepare news releases. Reconcile applications into categories. Recruit panel of judges. Correspond with applicants and announce winners. Expand program beyond current level of participation.

Annual Unusual Litter Contest: Update, promote and distribute application forms. Coordinate with NC DOT Adopt-A-Highway staff. Prepare news releases. Reconcile applications. Recruit panel of judges. Correspond with applicants and announce winners. Expand program beyond current level

Performs other related duties as may be assigned by NCKAB Executive Director.

Applicant most be highly motivated, able to work independently and meet strict deadlines. Professional level skills required with ability to meet and make presentations to diverse audience. Salary open for discussion.
