CAMPAIGN UPDATE: Time Warner

It’s official. Our contract with Time Warner is complete. You might already be seeing some commercials in your area. Time Warner now covers Charlotte, the Triad, the Triangle, Wilmington, Elizabeth City, Lumberton and Morehead City/Jacksonville/Greenville/New Bern.

Here is the schedule:
1. Recycle More commercials (seen here) will air from 10/7/09-10/23/09. The commercials are airing on Discovery, News 14, CNN, USA, TBS and TNT.

2. RE3.org commercials (seen here) will air from 2/1/2010-2/22/2010. They will air on BET, Comedy Central, ABC Family, MTV and VH1.

3. Recycle Guys commercials (seen here) will air from 2/22/2010-3/22/2010. The commercials will air on Animal Planet, Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon and ABC Family.

Our contract also includes some advertising during the North Carolina High School Football Championship Games, Internet ads on News14.com and Roadrunner.com. We are also airing local government recycling videos through Time Warner’s On-Demand channel. Once again, please send me your up-to-date recycling videos.

As part of our earned value we will be tagged to the VH1 Hip Hop Honor Awards during the fourth quarter of 2009 and tagged to the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards in the first quarter of 2010. This is a value of $40,000 that we receive for free due to our volume buying.
