In Part II of this Social Marketing Planning Series, we will explore strategy development and intervention design. We will walk through the selection of Product, Price, Place and Promotion and the development of materials to support the intervention goals and objectives. Participants should review the material in the CDC's online course, Social Marketing for Nutrition and Physical Activity, accessible online at http://www.cdc.gov/nccdphp/dnpa/socialmarketing/training/index.htm prior to the webinar. While the material uses physical activity and nutrition as example behaviors to adopt, the material will be applied to other health behaviors, in particular, tobacco prevention and control.
