Intern Introduction – Megan and Clare

Megan: Social Marketing and Social Media Intern
Megan is a senior (so close!) at NCSU in the Environmental Technology program and our residential expert on all things music. When she isn’t in class or interning for DPPEA, you can probably find her at her other internship with NCSU’s Waste Reduction and Recycling office, where she also helps out with education and outreach. Recently, Megan took on another internship (yes, internship number three), working with the Independent Weekly on their first annual Hopscotch Music Festival. She has taken on the title of “eco-guru” and is in charge of greening the downtown Raleigh festival. In her spare time (a/k/a never), you can catch her listening to music, drinking lots of coffee or passing out from exhaustion.

Clare: Social Marketing and Local Government Technical Assistance Intern
Clare just graduated in May from N.C. State with a Masters in Public Administration. She received her Bachelor’s degree from UNC-Chapel Hill and managed to get through the past two years with minimal harassment. She is recently married (ask her to tell you about her wedding crasher), and she and her husband are moving to Washington, D.C. this fall. Clare spends her spare time packing and applying for jobs.
