The N.C. State Fair – Part 1

So, about a month ago I had a blog post about recycling at the N.C. State Fair. Well, as promised, I did a little bit of reconnaissance to see how trashy the state fair is. Here is my pictorial log of what I saw.
These barrels are everywhere for trash and you can see that cardboard is stacked up next to them (hopefully for recycling).

I found these sad recycling bins, not being used, by the similarly sad pond on the fair’s property. It would be so hard to recycle at the fair with these few recycle bins.

These 8-yard dumpster clusters were stationed around.

There was also a station with 8-yard cardboard dumpsters. So rest assured this material is getting recycled. Look for more fair posts next week.
