E-mail Tidbits Part 2 – RBRC and Consumer Electronics Association Report Findings

According to the NewsBits section of the Resource Recycling Newsletter I get:

The Rechargeable Battery Recycling Corp commissioned a survey on "green guilt" that found that 91 percent of respondents feel the most important reason to recycle is the impact it will have on their children's future. Almost 20 percent of those surveyed say they would do more for the environment. A news release with more information about the survey can be found here.

According to the Consumer Electronics Association consumers' attitudes toward green practices are going up … 91 percent of those surveyed believe recycling is an important or very important responsibility, up from 84 percent in 2005, for example. A news release with more information can be found here.
