Plastic Bottle Disposal Ban PR Events

We are continuing to provide you with resources to promote the upcoming plastic bottle disposal ban. One way to do that would be to coordinate a media event in your town or tag onto another event already taking place. Looking for an idea for the event? Well, we have been rinsing, drilling and stringing plastic bottles together so that we can visually show how many plastic bottles are disposed of in N.C. landfills. You can borrow two strings of plastic bottles (100 bottles and about 50 feet total) and a sign saying “N.C. disposes of 100 plastic bottles per second” from us.
