Has your community seen an increase in plastic bottle recycling? Did you start a new plastic bottle collection program, maybe at a school or an event? Have bin requests increased? Has call volume or Web site hits increased? If so, let us know. We now have a “Ban Success Stories” section on our Web site and we’d love to add your story. We have also translated our landfill ban handout into Spanish. Check it out here.
Starting in January, you will again be able to borrow our strings of plastic bottles and the corresponding sign that says "North Carolinians dispose of 100 plastic bottles per second".
